My favorite article in any
Real Simple magazine is called "Road Tests." The column selects a product such as sunscreen, hummus or water bottles and tests them with a user group. Then the top performers are divided into "best of" categories. I really enjoy the brief, informative descriptions. I spent a good portion of the afternoon going through the "Road Tests" available through the
Real Simple website. My favorites are below.

You should check out http://thesweethome.com/. They basically post in depth reviews of the "best" of certain household items: the best toaster oven, watering can, bath towel, baby monitor, etc. It's by the people who came up with http://thewirecutter.com/, which is basically the same thing, but for tech stuff. They do A LOT of research. I have no idea how they write so much about things like tweezers.
Thanks Eric! I've never heard of The Sweet Home. I just popped over to their site, and I can already tell I'm going to love it! I already shared a link with Ryno for the drill they recommend; we've been talking about getting a new power drill.
